Brrrrr, any cold stampers and scrappers out there?

Three little cards, one little focal point, have FUNN!

I love paper snowmen, all the cute with none of the cold.
Flakey Friends  (C1506) is one of my favorite stamp sets of snowmen, too.

Colors used are Outdoor Denim, Indian Corn Blue, Daisy White, and Creme Brulee.
To color "Flaky", I used stamp pads and Blending Pens.
Used a little "ombre" technique on the Distressed Backgrounds (D1544) image.
I don't think I have ever used the "ombre" technique on a B&T stamp until now.
And so I'm using this for my something new for this week's
I hope you will click over and see other new tricks and ideas!

And so I have built my snowmen cards and didn't have to even wear mittens.

Cute, isn't it?

Here in the midwest, we are cold and stamping/scrapping is about all I've gotten done this week! All schools closed here, so no work for me. Yay! No school again tomorrow, so snowmen here I come!

  4. Thank you, one and all, for leaving a comment!

The color combo idea came from several posts on Pottery Barn!

And, yes, I love these little guys, too, Donna and Katrina.
They are some of the cutest snow guys I have ever stamped.
