How-to Use Scraps of Paper to Make "V" Neck Cards!

Caveat: I am a mess when it comes to precision and accurate measurements.

This is a loose guideline and I hope it helps. Have FUNN!

How to make a "V" Neck Card with paper scraps

The measurements are for a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card.

ALL PRODUCTS ARE CLOSE TO MY HEART and available HERE!

Start with a White Daisy base of 3 3/4" x 5" and multiple 1/2" strips of B&T or colored card stock.

This card uses the beautiful For Always.

FUNN TIPP: Extra Close To My Heart zip strips found on each piece of B&T paper are perfect!

SORT of fold in 1/2!

"V" necks do NOT go to the top of neck - neither does this fold!

Fold only up to the point you want your "V" neck strips to begin in the center of the card.

I folded up to about 2" or 2 1/4".

This will help you place the strips without a lot of messy lines.

I added a few dots to help show you about placement.

Can you visualize the "V" neck here?

You can start adding strips on the left side or the right side.

But start with your top strip.

This is how it all kinda ends up.

I started at top left and let the inside edge (which is not angled) go over the folded center line.

The right side strips do NOT go over the folded center line.

The black triangles show how far the left strips go over the folded center line.

Just go back and forth.

This would be the start to a cute "V" neck t-shirt, wouldn't it?

Whichever side starts is the side that goes over the folded center line.

The top of the strips roughly end at the same height.

My apologies to all the engineers out there. 

As Tracy said at FUNN ClubB, "Mary Gunn and measurements do not belong in the same sentence."

Just to keep inconsistent, here I start on the right side.

Here is a covered botch! I had to add a striped strip over the original.

May I say this is a guideline?

This would be another really really cute "V" neck t-shirt!

I am seeing an entire clothes line of cute "V""T's"!

I used FOR ALWAYS paper and Stickease for the strips and design elements.

The Slate colored rose is drenched in Prisma Glitter
