Quick Colorful Card Idea

What happens when you see a bright, cheery card on a Monday morning?
You hop over to your art desk and re-create it with the tools at hand!

This Monday morning's tools were:
1. a tile
4. and a finger, my finger to be exact

What I did:
Added a little squirt of the paint on the tile (one for each color).
Added several (2-ish) drops of reinker on each squirtum of paint.
Then mixed each squirt, I think with the end of an ink pen.
Then I finger painted! Since I learned this in elementary school, it was easy.
Since it was easy, I could remember to wipe my finger clean between colors.
This can be much harder than it seems before 7 am on Monday morning.

Don't forget to stamp!
Look how pretty the paint makes the colors - all shiny and shiny is festive.
To make these cards really quick, I chose a single stamp in black.
The "thanks" stamp came with my CTMH Artiste Cricut Collection (and yes, there is a new fabulous cart coming out on August 1st. Pre-order yours from me now)!

So thanks for stopping by the busy busy blog-o-sphere.

Easy and FUNN for mom and the kids both!

This is, of course, just a jumping off spot - have FUNN and let us know what you come up with, too.
fb is very handy for that - you know where to find me, Mary Gunn FUNN.

original cute card came from . My Paper Secret blog of Cristina Kowalczyk, Thanks, Cristina!
